John Basilone is a litigation and trial attorney whose practice is focused on the handling of personal injury matters, representing persons who have been injured by the negligence of others.  He has been in practice for over 30 years, and has litigated and tried cases throughout the cities of Hampton Roads, including in both the state and federal courts, as well as in many other cities and counties throughout Virginia.  He holds the AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is recognized as a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, reserved for attorneys who have obtained jury verdicts and settlements for amounts in excess of one million dollars. 

He is licensed in Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practice in numerous federal courts, including the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.

He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, and he also attended the National Trial Advocacy College program at the University of Virginia.
